Confirmation

“The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you.” (John 14:26)

In the sacrament of Confirmation the candidate receives the gift of the Holy Spirit more fully and continues their journey with Christ. Since baptism typically happens when the candidate is a baby, Confirmation is a great way for an older child or an adult to acknowledge that they still want to continue their journey with God and strengthen their relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit. Young people who are in 7th grade at Holy Ghost are prepared for confirmation through our Religious Education Program. Please contact Director of Religious Education, Mitzi Taylor: (402) 731-3176 (Press 102)

Adults who are interested in receiving the sacrament of Confirmation should call the Holy Ghost Parish: (402) 731-3176 (Press 5) for information about attending Confirmation classes for adults.
